Lauderdale Memphis, TN 38105   Any gifts for Kara or other members of the family should be sent to Megan's parents home. Any gift for Kara must be new, remember that her immune system is very low if not nonexistent at this time, they cannot risk any chance of infection. Their address is as follows Kara Lee c/o Mike Isaacs 225 Sunny Way Dandridge, TN 37725 As the webmaster of this site and as a friend of both the Lee and Isaacs families I would like to make a few statements. First I want to make it clear that at no time did any family member ask me to say any of this nor did they make the suggestion. I actually came to them with the suggestion and their only reply was that they didn't want me to ask for financial assistance, so I won't...at least not directly. I along with the family would want everyone to know that the St Jude Children's Research Hospital does absolutely everything they can to reduce the financial burden that families face in these trying times. St Jude along with their partners, the Grizzly House, Target House and the Ronald McDonald house each go to great lengths to reduce the burden of being uprooted from their homes. But the fact of the matter is this, they can't do it all. Tony and Megan still have 3 other children that require the things that children require, they still have bills at home and the travel from Dandridge to Memphis is about 422 miles, and to put it simply, gas ain't cheap. And while they are staying in Memphis there will still be costs that the hospital can't cover. I don't want anyone to feel obligated to do anything, I've just tried to state some of the facts as the exist, and I probably didn't state them to the magnitude that they actually are. Just do me a favor and ask the Lord what you should do, he can and does still talk to man. If we each come together in a combined effort we can certainly make a big difference. 1 Cor 12:26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; This in no way can take the place of a single prayer that you send up in little Kara's name, please don't ever stop doing that, but until the Lord heals her there will be earthly needs.
